Took MC todae, cos got quite jialat skin infection... The doctor oso quite blur i think, cos after checking me he refered to a book b4 giving the diagnosis... I thot i kena ringworm, but the doc say its juz nomal skin infection, gave me cream and anti-biotics, and asked me to return next week for another check-up...
I'm quite worried, worried that it wun heal in time for my guard duty next monday, which will make the infection worse... Worried that it will leave permanent patches on my skin even if i recovers... How???

As promised, i'm back to explain more bout A1 Grand Prix... Firstly it's a new racing series, founded by Sheikh Maktoum of Dubai, and is currently contested by 25 countries... It has 12 races on its calendar and runs from Sept 05 to April 06...
A1 aims to provide quality racing on a level playing field for all contestants, therefore all A1 cars are developed by A1 technical team, all r identical cars using 3.4 litre V8 engines, producing 520bhp horsepower, capable of reaching a top speed of 330km/h... A special feature of A1 cars is the power boost button, which when activated provides and additional 30bhp to allow for overtaking, however they can onli be used a limited number of times in a single race... Hence drivers have to decide when is the best time to unleash this additional horsepower...
A1 Grand Prix is also dubbed "The Grand Prix of Nations", each and every team has to be purely national... From the sponsors to the engineers to the drivers, all have to be from that particular country... Up to 3 drivers can represent every team, points are awarded to nations and not drivers...
For every race weekend, the following will happen... 4 15-minute qualifying sessions, where every car is allowed 1 flying lap onli... Of the 4 lap times, the best 2 will be taken and added together to form the qualifying aggregate which will determine the grid for the sprint race... The sprint race is a short 20-min race from a rolling start led by the safety car... The results of the sprint race will determine the grid for the feature race, which last abt 1 hr, from a standing start like F1... Each race win is worth 10 points, hence every week 20 points r up for grabs, plus an additional point for clocking the fastest lap of the day...
There r no electronic aids in A1, unlike F1... No traction control, no launch control and no pit-lane speed limiter, all these r aimed to provide more room for drivers to show their skills, instead of using sophiscated electronic aids...
Personally i think the A1 is everything the F1 isn't... The 2 series look similar from the outside, but are actually very very diff from each other, so i would recommend this racing series too, though i'll still prefer F1, the pinnacle of motorsports...

Juz came back from Exercise Armadillo, as they call it, now watching the inaugural A1 Grand Prix, will talk abt it when i get the full picture... All i can say is if Nelson Piquet JR continues his form, he would make it to F1 in no time...
Excercise Armadillo was crap, i was assigned as a MOA marshaller, wearing the stupid green vest and flipper gloves, make me really look like clown... Then saw 2 familiar faces among the 41SAR vehicle commanders, Alvyn from VSNP and Ong JK's brother!!! haha... wad a small world...
Now i'm trying to stay awake till end of F1 race at 3am, but doubt i can make it, having woke up at 5 plus todae... Hopefully i dun fall asleep...

Cant believe my bad luck recently, a whole lot of things to show my bad luck... Firstly i haven won a single bet in 5 weeks, not bcos my predictions were totally off, but i always miss the result by 1 goal, sigh...
Then this month there were 2 days which guard duty personnel on MC, we had to draw lots to see who kena activated, both times i kena... This month also got 2 times guard duty got 1 extra guard, due to lousy planning by my CSM, again both times draw lots to see who dun need to do, both times i NEVER kena...
Then this sunday Brazilian Grand Prix, i have been planning for it, even took leave on monday cos the race ends at 3am monday morning... But wad happened??? I kena mobilised this sunday to load ammo for 41 SAR, might even have to do it overnight and miss both my A1 and F1 races... WTF??? How can i be so so so so so so suay???

Feel like i'm living my life aimlessly, totally nothing to go for this 2 yrs, nothing to look forward to... Juz passing time, passing time and passing time till 7 Dec 2006 maybe... Feel so empty, like something is missing in my life... wad can i do???

Guard duty again tmrl, wun be coming back home till friday evening... Todae got new batch of ammo techs posted to PAD, Jonathan is one of them... Received very good news todae, platoon 3 wun be merging with platoon 1 after all, we'll get a new PC instead... Its not decided yet, but it'll be either 2SG Janice or SSG Loke...
Alot of things will be happening to the F1 season in 2006, let me update u guys... WilliamsF1 has ended its relationship with BMW, they will be using Cosworth engines in 2006, and they lost their HP sponsorship deal too... On the other hand, BMW has purchased the Sauber team to become the BMW factory team, it will be known as Team BMW in 2006... Red Bull has purchased Minardi, forming Team Red Bull 2, this team is likely to be a platform for US drivers to step up into F1, the name Minardi would oso disappear from F1 forever... Last but not least Jordan has been purchased by Midland group, forming Team MidlandF1... Plus Williams and Toyota will be switching to Bridgestone tyres in 2006...
With 3 more races to go b4 this season ends, we're likely to have more saga, there r even rumours of Michelin pulling out of F1 next yr, so we'll juz wait and see... Worse come to worse we'll juz abandon F1 for A1 lor... lol!!!

Finally got my ez-link card todae, 9 months after enlistment... i can now save another 40 bucks per month using the concession stamp @ 61 bucks... My current transportation fees cost me over 100 bucks every month...

Sian... tmrl no off!!! ARGHHHHH.... how can liddat? 12km runners also shagged wad, why we never get off, we oso burn half a sunday lei... NOT FAIR!
Todae's AHM was more like new paper big walk... i ran abit onli, most of the time juz walk while talking cock, or looking at the gers... LOL... Not bad sia, got 8 HCJC gers join the run oso, they all quite good-looking... haha...
Now i'm juz tuang-ing, waiting for my F1 to start... Todae's race will be at the historic Spa-Francorchamps, the longest circuit in the formula calendar with a lap distance of over 6.2km... Its also on eof my favourite circuits, very technically demanding on the car and also a good circuit for drivers to show off their driving and overtaking skills, we shld have a good race ahead, Montoya's on pole... Yeah!!!

Recently got addicted to NFSU2 again... My current car is the Nissan 240SX, i've never heard of this car b4 in real life, but it seems to be so good tat there's a fan club of this car out there... I have a second car, a Toyota Celica, but i seldom use tat one... Perhaps i might use it for drag races, bcos it has a higher top speed... and maybe for drifts too, bcos its a front-wheel drive, easier to drift...
Todae quite dulan, cos i could have reached home at 4pm, instead of 5.45pm... All bcos got a stoopid guy keep pestering our sergeant to let us fall-out, so my sergeant dulan and kept us sitting there for 2 hrs b4 releasing us... Sian diao... Sigh... Tmrl will be escorting ammo to PAD, which is like god damn far away, coupled with the flatbeds' speed of 40km/h, think can forget bout early fall-out... juz hope tmrl everything sui sui, dun delay fall-out can le...

Today is my off day! Song song can wake up onli now, usually this time i'm alady sweating it out inside the depot... Hopefully later can play pool lor...
Sat basically was rotting at home, nothing to do so i rekindled my passion for Need For Speed Underground 2, lol... Realised my current car sucks, the Nissan 240SX, top speed 170km/h... WTH??? But its the best car available to me now, cos still got alot of cars haven unlock...
Yesterday morning went to play soccer wif my camp-mates in Bishan, the street soccer court is quite ulu one so nobody playing, but its freakin' big.. Play 4-4 can pant until u die, think best is 5-5... Then afternoon played pool at parkway wif KL and TYS, DW juz came to watch... and eat! After tat rushed home to watch F1, damn dulan, waited 156 for like 25 min, nearly missed the warm-up lap...
Anyway Raikkonen was superb in the race, starting from 11th after an engine change, he gambled on a revolutionary 1-stop strategy in Monza, hoping to plug away and work his way up the field... He nearly succeeded, if not for a dangerously-worn left rear tyre which forced another pit-stop for him... Eventually he finished 4th, almost certainly handing over the driver's championship to Alonso, who finished 2nd... Another man tat did superbly was Antonia Pizzonia, standing in for the injured Nick Heidfeld, who finished in 7th after starting P16 on the grid!!! Well not forgetting my favourite driver Juan Pablo Montoya, who led from pole all the way to win the race!

Finally the week ended, bad week for me... Firstly bcos i have been sick since thurs, then i tahan still go to camp cos i wanted to take off for money, all bcos KL wanna take tat day oso... I got the off, but KL din... WTF!
Then damn suay la, one of my platoon mates MC on his duty day, so the remaining 5 armed guards in platoon 3 drew lots to replace him... Guess wad??? I kena... B4 frawing lots i alady knew i would get it, i kept calling up ppl to replace him, but all my efforts were gone to waste, i DID get the unlucky lot... WTF! Luckily i found a guy last minute, but lotsa complications after tat involving a further 4th party, finally everything got settled by fall-out yesterday... Phew!
Still quite sick now, down with flu and sore throat... i oso can sense cough is coming up soon... Hoepfully this long weekend can help me recover fully...
August was a bad month for me, lost ard 50 bucks to Singapore Pools... But dun worry, i'll make a comeback in Sept... The season is still early...
